Skin is a record.
Every hue tells a different story. Every line is earned. My job is not to erase that record. My job is to help your skin do its best work at every stage of your life.
Skincare did not come first. Precision did. Long before there was a studio in Centerton, there were twenty years of careful, quiet work behind a slit lamp — and the patience that comes with looking very closely, for a very long time.
For two decades I sat across from people and examined their eyes. Tens of thousands of them. I learned the kind of patience that only comes from looking at one small thing very carefully — a cornea, a retina, a pupil — and trusting that the small thing tells the bigger story.
When I moved into skincare, that training did not leave me. It became the foundation. The way I read a face is the same way I read an eye. Slowly. Without assumption. With curiosity for the person behind it.
That is what KDM Derma Therapy is. A studio that listens first, treats second, and never confuses speed with skill.
No overnight stories. No viral shortcut. Just years of work, one client at a time.
A career in eye care. Two decades of clinical precision, patient communication, and the quiet discipline of looking carefully at a small surface and reading what it is telling you. The training that nothing later would replace.
After certification in esthetics and natural hair care, the first studio was a corner of the kitchen. Friends. Friends of friends. A growing list of women who could not find anyone who understood their hue, their texture, their hair like their own family did.
A renovated recreational vehicle became the first dedicated space. Compact, intentional, mobile. The bones of what the studio would become — a calm, clean, beautifully lit place where a client could exhale for an hour and trust that her skin and her crown were in skilled hands.
In 2024, Kendra connected with the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center and consultant Catherine Corley. Cash flow, marketing, growth planning — the unglamorous work behind every glamorous studio. A featured success story in the SBTDC’s archive.
A permanent home. Full menu. Three pillars under one roof — aesthetics, natural hair, and private spa experiences. Six cities served. One mission still: to be a place where multi hued beauty is the standard, not the exception.
Every hue tells a different story. Every line is earned. My job is not to erase that record. My job is to help your skin do its best work at every stage of your life.
Naturally locking your tresses is not just a hairstyle. It is a relationship with your texture. I treat Sisterlocks and Inter Loc’s as the long, careful, healthy practice they are meant to be.
I do not believe in anti aging. I believe in thriving, wise skin. I believe in showing up for your face the way you would show up for any relationship worth keeping: consistently, honestly, with care.
Your face is a blank canvas, and skincare is an art form. Multi hued beauty is not a niche. It is the standard. Everyone deserves to be truly seen.
