Booking, cancellations, payments, and privacy. Please read before your first appointment.
Appointments
All services at KDM Derma Therapy are by appointment. Walk ins are not accepted. Reservations are made online at kdmdt.glossgenius.com/book or through direct inquiry for private events.
Each appointment includes a brief consultation. New clients should plan an additional ten to fifteen minutes for intake. Sisterlocks installations and Glow Social events are scheduled separately by inquiry.
The maximum length of any single appointment is five hours. The base price of a Sisterlocks first four inches installation includes four hours of installation time; additional time is billed in agreement at consultation.
Cancellation Policy
I respect your time and ask that you respect mine. Cancellations affect not only the studio but the next client who could have taken your slot.
No call no show: A fifty percent fee of the service amount will be charged.
Cancellation within one to twelve hours of the appointment: A twenty five percent fee of the service amount will be charged.
Cancellation more than twenty four hours in advance: No fee.
Rescheduling: Free, provided it is requested more than twenty four hours in advance.
Fees are charged to the card on file. Repeated cancellations may result in a prepaid deposit being required for future bookings.
Late Arrivals
Arrivals more than twenty minutes late will be asked to reschedule, and the late cancellation fee may apply. Arriving fifteen to twenty minutes late may result in a shortened service to avoid impacting the client booked after you.
Please plan for parking and weather. Traffic on Centerton Boulevard during school pickup hours is real.
Payment & Tipping
Payment is accepted in cash, credit card, and through Square. Square invoices are issued for inquiry based events and prepaid bookings. Tipping is welcome but never expected.
Gift certificates are available by inquiry.
Buy Now Pay Later
Buy Now Pay Later is available in person for bookings between fifty and four thousand dollars. Please get approved through the provider before your appointment so the time on the chair can be focused entirely on your service.
Lock Care Policies
Lock separation outside of a scheduled retightening appointment is fifty dollars. Please come to retightening appointments with hair clean, dry, and free of styling products. If your hair arrives in a condition that requires significant additional washing, conditioning, or drying time, an additional service charge may apply.
Transfer clients must complete the transfer consultation before booking a maintenance appointment. This protects both your locks and the integrity of the service.
Refunds & Service Adjustments
Services are non refundable once performed. If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of your service, please tell me before you leave the studio. Concerns raised at the time of service are addressed at no charge. Concerns raised after departure are evaluated case by case and may be addressed through a complimentary touch up within seven days.
Retail product purchases may be returned, unopened, within fourteen days of purchase.
Minors
Clients under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The Mommy and Me Derma Cleanse is designed specifically for this and includes age appropriate treatment selection.
Privacy
KDM Derma Therapy collects the minimum personal information necessary to provide services and operate the business. This includes name, contact information, and any health, skin, or hair history you disclose during consultation.
Your information is never sold. It is used to deliver your services, to send appointment confirmations and reminders, and on occasion to communicate updates about studio hours, new services, or seasonal promotions. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting your client status.
Photographs of treatments and results are taken only with your verbal consent. Identifiable client photos are never shared publicly without written permission.
The booking platform (GlossGenius), payment processor (Square), and email and SMS systems used to communicate with clients each have their own privacy practices. By using KDM Derma Therapy services, you acknowledge that data shared through those tools is governed by their respective policies.
